!!!New club night launching in Brixton!!!

On Friday 28th of August, Brixton’s Babalou nightclub hosts the launch of a brand new weekly clubnight for the South London clubscene. Starting from 8pm with a host of amazing live acts from around London, will become home of a weekly Drum & Bass offering for South London clubbers.


From midnight, the music will be supplied by Rollercoaster Recordings, who have moved from Thursday at another club, to Fridays at this prestigious venue.



DJ’s after midnight will include guests such as the legendary Nicky Blackmarket, Chart topping Aphrodite, hit Drum & Bass producer, Pleasure, as well as Drum & Bass veteran DJ Kane.

Midnight-4am, every Friday

Entrance is £5 before midnight , £7 thereafter. Concessions apply for NUS holders.

Dresscode: Smart Casual, trainers allowed, hoodies slightly frowned upon.

Rollercoaster Recordings LTD has been at the forefront of the Brixton Drum & Bass scene since 2001. Drum & Bass legends to have graced the turntables of Rollercoaster include Grooverider, Keaton, Aphrodite, Muffler, Mampi Swift, Ray Keith, Brockiem, Bailey, Hype and many more. Rollercoaster is known for promoting clubs around London such as Mass, Herbal, 333, Telegraph, Nsomnia, Equinox, Annexe and Club Supreme.

Babalou is situated in the heart of Brixton, set in a Crypt of a converted church. Formerly known as the Bug Bar and now recently refurbished, it features original crypt architecture, North African style lamps, sturdy wooden tables and sumptuous velvet booths. The venue has a capacity of 500 and is South London's premier and newest club/lounge and bar all in one.
In the past the venue has held the BBC World Music Awards, been used as a film location for the ITV's The Bill and has hosted an Arctic Monkeys aftershow party.
