We're getting involved in a new clubnight in Brixton

!!!New club night launching in Brixton!!!


On Friday 28th of August, Brixton’s Babalou nightclub hosts the launch of a brand new weekly clubnight for the South London clubscene. Starting from 8pm with a host of amazing live acts from around London, will become home of a weekly dance music offering for South London clubbers.

The night starts with Live Indie music from 8pm till midnight.

From midnight, the music policy, is DUBSTEP, BREAKS, OLD SKOOL JUNGLE(89-94), followed by the latest Drum & Bass from top producers DJ’s after midnight will include guests such as the legendary Nicky Blackmarket, Chart topping Aphrodite, hit Drum & Bass producer, Pleasure and Drum & Bass veteran DJ Kane.

Midnight-4am, every Friday

Entrance is £5 before midnight , £7 thereafter. Concessions apply for NUS holders.

Babalou is situated in the heart of Brixton, set in a Crypt of a converted church. Formerly known as the Bug Bar and now recently refurbished, it features original crypt architecture, North African style lamps, sturdy wooden tables and sumptuous velvet booths. The venue has a capacity of 500 and is South London's premier and newest club/lounge and bar all in one.

In the past the venue has held the BBC World Music Awards, been used as a film location for the ITV's The Bill and has hosted an Arctic Monkeys aftershow party.

From midnight, the music will be supplied by Rollercoaster Recordings, who have moved from Thursday at another club, to Fridays at this prestigious venue.



DJ’s after midnight will include guests such as the legendary Nicky Blackmarket, Chart topping Aphrodite, hit Drum & Bass producer, Pleasure, as well as Drum & Bass veteran DJ Kane.

Midnight-4am, every Friday

Entrance is £5 before midnight , £7 thereafter. Concessions apply for NUS holders.

Dresscode: Smart Casual, trainers allowed, hoodies slightly frowned upon.

Drum & Bass legends to have graced the turntables of Rollercoaster include Grooverider, Keaton, Aphrodite, Muffler, Mampi Swift, Ray Keith, Brockiem, Bailey, Hype and many more. Rollercoaster is known for promoting clubs around London such as Mass, Herbal, 333, Telegraph, Nsomnia, Equinox, Annexe and Club Supreme.

Drum & Bass has a new lease of life on a Thursday night!

On Thursday the 9th of July, we had a Rollercoaster party down at Club Nsomnia.

Harry Shotta went back to back with MC Kid followed up nicely by Deeza & Starz. Music was supplied by DJ Lazee KD.

After leaving Nsomnia, everyone went back to a secret location in Brixton to carry on the party and dance some more..

Rollercoaster Agency Newz.. DVS touring with Blackmarket

Things have been going well with the launch of our new agency, DVS MC was hooked up with Nicky Blackmarket to go on a UK wide tour recently and we've got an event planned which will have DVS doing all of his latest songs.

We're still in talks with Deeza & Starz about signing a contract with Rollercoaster, bringing new life into the MC side of the camp.

DJ Etch has gone Abroad, when he returns, we will be re signing the contract we have with him.

We're still looking at taking on new DJ's and stuff, so if you know any bring em along!!
